I’ve seen Maria’s family lots of times on Michele’s photography blog and was shocked when she contacted me needing a new design. I said.. ‘I know that person!”. Although.. I didn’t really know her. Isn’t that funny how blogging or social media can be? You read someones blog, or see images, and feel like you know them. But now I can say I really do know Maria as we’ve chatted lots on the phone and even met in person twice!!
So.. back to her design. She was in desperate need of a more feminine design for your blog! I should have taken a screenshot of her before, but completely forgot. Maria loves purple so I knew going into it purple would be primary. She also sent me lots of images for inspiration and kept commenting that she loved the green trees and grass in images and how it complimented the purple. So green became the next dominant color. So I pulled together a color scheme and she loved it. Then she had an idea (along with lots of other ideas) of a peacock and sent me the definition and I knew that was were we needed to go!! So I sent her the first proof and she loved it after a few tiny revisions!
