Twitter Tools: Plugin

Twitter Tools is another great social media plugin for wordpress. This one is for you, the blogger, whereas the previous 2 that I’ve covered are for your readers.

This plugin allows for you to select the option from your dashboard, when creating a posts, to notify twitter that you’ve posted a new blog post. The second you hit publish on your posts, it hits twitter. So if you use twitter to bring traffic to your blog , which let’s face it… most people do, then you’ll want to let your followers know when you’ve put up a new blog post.
