Seamless dots freebie

I have been frustrated lately with making seamless background and decided to go ahead and make my own patterns for dots. I thought I would share them with everyone also. These are completely free and can be used for commercial purposes. The dots come with a transparent background so you can change the color to whatever you wish.

those are fantastic looking! I know it was one of the things I went mental over when I was first setting up my template so in the end I didn’t use one. Nice freebie!

I just unzipped my download of the dotted overlays/papers, and it’s only in MAC version or something that’s not openable/unrecognizable. I’m going to download one more time, but thought I should let you know….and if I didn’t think they were magnificent, I would’ve let it go! TY again.

  20. These are gorgeous and just what I’m looking for. I’ve downloaded them but can’t get them to open. Don’t know whether it’s because it’s a .pat file. Is there anything I can do? Thanks.

      Hi Sara,

These are actually pattern files, so they can’t be opened directly in photoshop. You first have to open your patterns palette within photoshop, and then upload the pattern file there to be able to use it.

This has been very confusing for a lot of people, so I hope to put together a psd file soon for the seamless dots that can be easily edited and saved.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
      ~Lauren
